Christianskirkjan: Matiné leygarmorgunin, 21 september kl. 12.00

Leygardagin, 21. september kl. 12.00 er Matiné í Christianskirkjuni v/Eysturoyar Strúkitrio við Moniku Stauss Joensen, violin, Jonu Højgaard, viola og Tóra Restorff Jacobsen á cello.

Monika, Jona og Tóri eru kend andlit í klassiska tónleikalívinum í Føroyum, sum eitt nú í Føroya Symfoniorkestri, á Musikkskúlanum og í nógvum ymiskum tiltøkum.  Tey hava hvør sær framført í ymiskum samansetingum, bæði her heima og uttanlands.

Ikki fyrr enn á sumri í 2022 byrjaðu tey at spæla sum trio og hava síðan tá regluliga vant saman og framført ymsastaðni kring landið. Tey trý strúkiinstrumentini, violin, viola og cello, mynda eitt heilt serligt ljóð.

Matinee on Saturday, September 21th at 12am 
Saturday, September 21th at 12am a Matinee will be held in the Christianschurch in Klaksvík by the  Eysturoyar String Trio with Monika Stauss Joensen on violin, Jona Højgaard on viola, and Tóri Restorff Jacobsen on cello.

Monika, Jona and Tórur are well-known in the Faroese classical music scene, including the Faroe Islands Symphony Orchestra, the Music school, and many other events. They have performed separately in different compositions, both abroad and in the Faroe Islands.

During the summer of 2022 they began playing as a trio, and since then they have regularly rehearsed together and performed in various locations around the country. The three instruments, violin, viola, and cello, make up a very special sound.
