The country’s first integration vicar, Marjun Lómaklett, was appointed on 1 February.
In her first official event, at Kirkjuhúsið in Sørvágur (next to the church) on Monday 7pm, she will give an English-language introduction to her new role.
“I hope to see as many people there as possible, so I can learn about the immigrant community in the Faroes and get some ideas for our future events,” she tells KVF.
